Organized in 1989, Clog Carolina strives to preserve clogging as a traditional dance form while embracing the opportunity for growth and creativity in the folk arts. The team is best known for its educational programs and performances at regional festivals, heritage celebrations, private gatherings, and senior care facilities. We would welcome the opportunity to assist you with your entertainment needs. We are an energetic, fun generating group that draws a crowd as soon as people hear our feet tapping in time with the music!

A blend of Irish, Scottish, and Native American dance steps, clogging originated in the Southern Appalachian Mountains during the late 1700’s. Originally a spontaneous freestyle dance, clogging has evolved to include choreographed dances performed by teams, couples and individuals.
